Would be interested to know of the technique for getting a phone pole into the footing for the corners of a blind. Digging the pigsty and driving it downwardly I don't recollect will be the result, getting it standing up to get downwardly into the hole I foresee being the issue.

Depends on site weather condition and elevation of pole. Just finished a pole barn and set the poles with a skid steer.

Dig the pigsty on the big side. Take a 2x6 or 2x8 and put it in the pigsty make certain it extends above ground. Butt the pole against the 2x6 or 2x8. Walk the pole up. The pole should slide in fairly easy.

Ask a local lineman if he knows someone who volition rent out a pole utility truck. Had four poles set for a box stand up this summer. The truck hauls in the poles, augers out a hole, picks up and sets the pole, and has a hydraulic tamper. We set 2x12s with bolts for joists, then he set up the box stand on meridian with the crane. All controlled by remote command.

Probably non dry ground. Not standing water simply probably moist mud where the slough has dried back some.
No way to get a crane or slip steer in there. All-time nosotros could promise for is bring the poles in on a trailer to the field edge about 40 yards away from the edge of the slough then pack them into place with a few people.
If it can't be done that is fine too I tin use 4x4 or 4x6 only actually wanted to use the telephone poles for longevity's sake. Area gets backwater on it regular and it trashes the blinds.

The board trick mentioned earlier is probably your best bet. You can also dig a shallow trough leading to the hole and walk information technology in in similar manner. It's a matter of getting the pole past the tipping point. If there's a tree close plenty you can apply cablevision and a come-along to help, but two-3 guys tin can generally handle it by paw. Bet BM has some equipment that would arrive there.

Bet he does too. Simply information technology is a public spot, pretty limited admission, I'd rather not try and get a bunch of equipment in there if there was a manual way to get it washed.
